Cependant, en pratiquant les postures, vous allez aussi renforcer vos muscles, y compris vos muscles profonds. Le Yoga va vous rendre plus forte physiquement et aussi renforcer votre souplesse.

On tonifie sa silhouette. Le yoga fait travailler la totalité des muscles du corps de façon plus ou moins douce. Les muscles se renforcent, s’allongent, se détendent. Pratiqués régulièrement, certains exercices de respiration (les “pranayamas”) musclent les abdominaux en profondeur.

La respiration, un atout pour mincir

Pratiquer le yoga fait travailler la respiration abdominale, c’est-à-dire celle au niveau du ventre, et procure un massage de toute la zone digestive. Un vrai coup de pouce pour lutter contre la constipation et retrouver un ventre plat.

Sport pour certains, art de vivre pour d’autres, le yoga aide à affiner le corps tout en libérant l’esprit de certains blocages qui empêchent de perdre du poids.
